Hi, I’m Keith Davis, owner of Grand Traverse Sealcoating & Striping.
I grew up just outside Glen Arbor and attended Glen Lake High School. Like many entrepreneurs, I started working young—mowing lawns on weekends and after school. What began as a side job in high school continued through college and helped build the work ethic that still drives my business today.
After high school, I attended Ferris State University, where I earned an associate degree in Heavy Equipment Technology with a minor in Welding. Following graduation, I completed an internship as a field mechanic with Team Elmer’s in 2010. From there, I moved to Cody, Wyoming, where I worked for Baker Hughes as an electrical technician in the oilfield for four years.
After leaving Baker Hughes, I made my way back home to Northern Michigan and started Grand Traverse Sealcoating & Striping. Since then, I’ve built the company around dependable service, quality workmanship, and doing the job right the first time.
What started with a strong work ethic and hands-on experience has grown into a trusted local asphalt maintenance company serving Traverse City and the surrounding Northern Michigan communities.
