Step-By-Step Parking Lot Striping Process
We review the property layout or new striping plan, including traffic flow, stall count, and the specific markings needed. Stencils are carefully positioned flat against the pavement before painting to help create clean, sharp markings and reduce overspray.
The pavement is prepared by wire brushing areas as needed to remove dirt, grass, and debris. We then blow off the lot to create a clean surface, helping the new markings adhere properly to the asphalt.
We lay out the striping pattern using tape measures and chalk lines to ensure the parking lot is organized, easy to navigate, and professionally finished.
Parking stalls, directional arrows, crosswalks, fire lanes, ADA spaces, and other requested markings are painted using specialized high-pressure striping equipment that helps embed the paint into the asphalt surface. We use fast-dry traffic paint designed for high-use pavement areas, creating clean, durable markings with a professional finish.
